For human resource development in the field of Photonics, CELOS conducts an Integrated M.Sc course in Photonics. This unique course in Photonics is the first of its type either at UG level or at PG level in the country. This programme is intended for students, who seek an understanding of the current approaches and emerging directions in Photonics.
The idea behind the course is to nourish the scientific and technological talent of adolescent mind and imbue it with the professional know how of photonics technologies of Lasers, Fiber optics, and Opto-electronics. The course has been designed by balancing the technical know how of Photonics on the strong foundations of Physics, Mathematics, Electronics, Applied Optics, Instrumentation and Computer Science. This precise balance of theoretical knowledge and technical know makes this course a stand alone course.
